   We have had our grandson on and off astragalus tincture of several years now due to asthma. The one we have given him was an ACV extraction. I've been making some of my own tinctures this past year and recently learned that astragalus is best extracted via water as opposed to ACV or alcohol. And that most ACV tinctures are not as effective (potent) as water or alcohol ones. Which requires taking a larger dose.

   Now, our grandson is only 4 y/o and is accustomed to taking the ACV tincture. Yet, I've found it very difficult to find info on making and astragalus tincture using this extraction method. So, my question is:

   Have any of you used this method for this particular herb? And if so, would you mind sharing how you did it?

   I could follow the standard steps for ACV extraction, but since this herb is unique in its make up, I just wanted to cover all my bases first :)

   As such I have no idea on this method and this particular herb. Honestly as a whole I couldn't understand your query at a go but it took few attempts on reading it again and again. Anyway I would try and see if I can gather some necessary information on this topic. Let me try for a day or two and if I could get something helpful for you, I would post here.
